Started to practice knitting and all the different stitched out there! Very uneven and knobbley...but that's what samplers are for I suppose! Using up all the scraps of wool that MummySew and I have kicking around :)
Thanks Coleen, I have to admit I'm more of a crochet girl! Co-ordinating 2 hands at once is all just too much for me! I'll be posting about a new crochet project tomorrow.
wow too much of colors , keep it up,,,,knitting is fun and it's always a pleasur for me to knit :) try this website http://newstitchaday.com/ it has a dozen of stitches with a video tutorials you can learn a lot of things from coasting rows to binding off :) good luck Sara.
What a great idea to make the sampler. I tried knitting again when I was laid up after surgery. I succeeded in making a dish cloth. I get confused as I am ambidextrous and I can never quite figure out which hand is supposed to do what. My mom is a fabulous knitter, too bad it didn't flow to me. Have fun with it. - Swap-bot Suzi
That is awesome!!! I'm a beginner knitter and I love the idea of making the sample. I've made several wash clothes but that is are far as I've made it. I'm in the process of making a hat for my DH. Although it started out for my son. I got a few rows knitted and realized it was way to big.
I'm not much of a knitter, I never get to finish my projects, and I don't find it too versatile. I love crochet though, but your sample piece is an EXCELLENT idea, love it. I'm popping in from Swap-bot to say 'HI'!! Keep it up ;)
Hi Marchy! I love crochet too - it's fun to try something new though. Maybe one day this could be a very unique lumpy bump scarf :p ill probably be too attached to it though - maybe frame it!
I love your comments - I read every single one and normally reply to them! Don't forget to stop by and read my reply. Any requests for patterns will definitely be answered! Thank you for visiting and taking time to leave a little note behind. x
Tara, I am envious of anyone who can knit. Good for you. And I like all these colors. Keep it up and you'll have a really cool scarf.

How handy to be ambidextrous (no pun intended hehe). Good for you for trying though :)
